Itinerary

Day 1: Fly to Lalibela
Today, you will have a domestic flight to Lalibela for the Christmas Day celebration. Visit the unique Experience of Christmas with local and foreign people who are gathered for the festival days earlier. The churches lie in rock cradles in this “Second Jerusalem.”

Day 2: Exploring Lalibela
Spend a second day attending the Christmas religious festival in Lalibela. Then, your visit will be to the eleven rock-hewn monolithic (carved from a single rock) churches of Lalibela (UNESCO World heritage site, with magnificent architecture & paintings inside the churches).

Day 3: Excursion to Yimrhane Kirstos Church
Morning after breakfast, you will have a 42m drive to Yimrhane Kirstos.On the way, you will visit Bil-Balla Giyorgis Church. Late afternoon, drive back to Lalibela.

Day 4: Fly back to Addis
After a relaxed breakfast, a short flight will bring you back to Addis Ababa. You will arrive in Addis Ababa mid-day, and you will a relaxed lunch. A guided visit will take you to a village where you experience children ways of live in Addis Ababa. Today, you will also have a time to shop at Ethiopian Souvenirs.
